Shanghai MCC Steel Pipe Co., Ltd. is invested and held by Shanghai Baosteel Metallurgical Construction Company and Shanghai Baoye Construction Co., Ltd. Established in 1986, we are specialized in manufacturing steel pipes for transmission of petroleum, natural gas, ore slurry, pipe for city water supply, gas supply and heat supply, pipe piles and structural pipes for high-rising building, bridge, port, dock and large industrial projects, as well as supply various relative steel products.

Our company has imported advanced equipment and technology and is equipped with special three-rollers bend and inner expansion former and a weld automatic control device with electrical liquid sensing and tracing device. It can produce the spiral submerged arc double welded pipes of various specifications with diameter from Φ219mm to Φ2,420mm and thickness from 4mm to 24mm and different materials, including carbon steel, lower alloy steel and pipeline steel.

Meanwhile, we have a set of spiral welding machine imported from Germany (SP1600) and another set of spiral welding machine of Φ1,600 which is made in China. In order to assure all the products meet high quality standards, our company has allocated other advanced testing and monitoring equipment, including the on-line and off-line ultrasonic testing equipment, X-ray industrial TV, and 1,200 metric ton static water pressure testing machine, caliber-enlarging machine and a chemical lab for the quality inspection in the process of production.

So far we have obtained standard certificates of GB/T9711.1 in China, quality management system certificate of ISO9001 by Det Norske Veritas (DNV) and also obtained certificate of authority to use official monogram by American Petroleum Institute (API). Our products can meet various standards, such as GB, API, AWWA, DIN, JIS and BS. Our annual capacity is 120,000 metric tons.

With more than ten years' experience, we possess a group of experienced technicians, management personnel and skilled workers. The company attaches importance to the improvement of technology and tries to develop the new products at all the time. We have manufactured X60 and X65 long distance pipeline of high strength and high toughness with different diameters.

Enjoying convenient transportation by land and by water, we are doing every effort to expand our market share both in the domestic and overseas markets. We have made great contribution to some domestic and national key projects. Nearly hundreds thousand tons of superior pipes are applied to such projects as Baosteel projects, Shanghai Natural Gas transmission line, New Aotang Bridge in Macao, Suzhou Water pipeline, Shanghai Nanpu Bridge and many others. In addition, we have sold several ten thousand tons of pipes to South Korea, Southeast Asia, Middle Africa and Taiwan area.
